"Passing as Property": Plessy v. Ferguson and the Rise of Identity Theft

Dr. Dawkins gives Claremont University a sneak peek of her new book, Clearly Invisible: Racial Passing and the Color of Cultural Identity [1] at the 2011 NAES Conference.

She spoke about the 115th anniversary of the Plessy v. Ferguson decision and what it means for us today when we remember it as the first legal case of "identity theft."
